Onze Kaaz Extra Matured 35+: full of flavour and creamy, yet easy to slice

Working with Kaasmakerij Schoonrewoerd in the Vijfheerenlanden in the Groene Hart, MAAZ Cheese developed an improved, flavourful and lower-fat cheese. This extra matured 35+ cheese is very flavourful, creamy and slices well. It weighs roughly 0.6 kilos more than the regular Gouda version, so it matures excellently and divides into handsome pieces. Most of the milk comes from farms within a 30 kilometre radius of the creamery. The cheese matures at MAAZ Cheese in Bodegraven under ideal climatic conditions, on spruce from Sweden. 100% meadow milk and vegetarian rennet are used. The natural yellow colour is deepened slightly with carotene, a plant colour extract present in carrots among other things, which does not fall under the E-numbers.
